The International Development Forum
|
|

The IDF is financially supported by

The IDF was set up in 1989 to provide a forum for the discussion of international development issues.
The forum arose from a conviction that development problems are not usually approached on a multi-disciplinary basis, and there is also little exchange of project experience among professionals.
In addition, it was recognised that development is frequently seen as a way of transferring experience from the developed to the developing countries, in a largely Euro-centric manner.
